Give the information below a read to get familiar with how we run our weekly meetings at the
St. Catharines Business Club.
The information below is a guideline for the structure of our weekly meetings – variations may occur. However, know that you will leave feeling energized and ready to tackle the next big project after each week of guest speakers and networking.
The meeting will be called to order by the president or acting-president promptly at 12:15 pm.
Members will be asked to introduce any guests, after which time are "Beefs & Bouquets" (compliments and complaints) are presented, which is then followed by Executive announcements.
Oral presentation of leads - the cornerstone of the club.
Guest speaker or member craft talk - approximately 20 minutes in length.
Draw to distribute the lead-find money and any prizes.
The meeting is adjourned.
There are 13 lunches included with your annual membership, representing the 50% attendance policy we have. Additional lunches can be purchased with cash at the meeting or by sending an e-transfer to email@example.com.
Additional Lunch or Guest Lunch - $ 32.00
A leads sheet is available inside the meeting room. These sheets are used to write down and submit any information that you feel may benefit club members. (i.e. new business opening, a business moving, closing, staff changes, etc. Rumors are not acceptable.)
Name badges are to be worn at every meeting. Be sure to return your badge to the badge locker after each meeting. Members will be responsible for replacing lost name badges.
There is no pre-arranged seating plan or reserved seats. Take a seat at any table and introduce yourself.
